MY NAME IS EMILY AND I AM A PROCRASTINATOR

"Oh you're not that bad"
Oh really? Ask everyone that's experienced my procrastination how bad I am.

"Oh I'm probably worse than you"
Worse than me my big toe, come on, ask the people who have seen.

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE UNDERSTAND HOW HARD I MAKE MY LIFE ON MYSELF

Now, I really don't have a bad life, I've got it pretty stinking good. But...
I make things harder and more stressful than they should be sometimes. And I know i do it, I know I need to stop, I know that I have work that I should be doing right now, I know that I need to study for my calculus test, and I know that I should get in bed at a decent time.
But what am I doing?

WRITING A BLOG POST

PROCRASTINATING

Is there anybody reading this that can tell me how to deal with this... disease? Can we call procrastination a disease?

While I'm procrastinating, why not keep at it...

DO ANY OF YOU WATCH SHERLOCK
Please tell me there is someone reading this (if there is anyone reading this) that watches Sherlock.

Come on

BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH

Oh yes. His name IS italicized and underlined.

LOOK AT HIM

HE'S EVEN CUTE HERE LOOK

OH MERCY ME
LOOK WHAT I HAVE FOUND

Don't forget his fancy name

Now, go watch Sherlock and come up with a cure for procrastination.
(& all the other bad REAL diseases, yeah find a cure for them too)

Toodleloo!
Emily,
Xx

Been-a Minute, Yeah?

oh
hello

Well... Just dive right on into it for a bit, shall we?

I've started college! Not gonna tell ya where on here, I have no idea how many of you are potentially harmful.
College isn't that crazy, but there are a few differences from high school.
FOR EXAMPLE:
The fact that you can just up and leave straight in the middle of class. Seriously, not even kidding. Oh, is the teacher teaching but you gotta pee? just go right on, nope, don't even ask. Yep, just leave.
I was getting help from my anatomy teacher the other day, when my phone buzzed. My teacher was between me and my phone, and I was just going to leave it. I even thought about apologizing for it happening. But, no need. He was just like "I think your phone's buzzing" or something like that... AND HE HANDED ME MY PHONE. Nope, I'm not kidding, he gave my phone to me because he heard it buzzing.
Ahh college.

I sit here with heavy eyelids...

Why not share something with the few of you that are reading this (thanks btw).

I want to be a good blogger. I want people to look forward to my next blog post. I want to blog like Louise Watson (sprinkleofglitter).

Got any tips for me to start achieving this? If yes, then PLEASE share them down in the comments.

Forgive the Wait

My fellow bloggies,

Please do forgive me for the following things:

A.) the fact that it has been over a month since my last post

B.) how the format of this blog may be, for I am using the blogger app and I don't know how this will turn out.

I made a choice this week. A choice that some people who know me may have thought it would take more to happen than what did for me to make.

I. Deleted. My. Instagram.

No, you didn't hallucinate those words on your screen. It really happened. Some people may not understand my motives behind doing so, but I chose to do it. I was not forced to do so.

I was driving down the road when a thought pretty much randomly popped into my head to delete my Instagram. The night before, my friend told me that she deleted her Instagram. That night something very good was given to her. Awhile I had been home I was listening to one of my mother's lectures, somewhat during which my cousin walked into the house. As we talked more, my cousin had also been thinking about deleting her Instagram.

For kind of personal reasons we decided that we should delete our Instagrams, and did so. (I tried deleting the 2 other accounts I have but failed, maybe they can be deleted soon).

We did this in hopes that it would be good for us and bring something good out of it. This wasn't the easiest thing to do. Try deleting something that you are usually on for a collective amount of hours a day and had over 1,400 followers on. Not very fun. Then try going through a day WITHOUT that thing. Again, not the easiest thing to do. My friend didn't help much by sending the link to two Instagram videos to me... Yes I watched them.

I am still alive, even without my Instagram.

Much love, xx

Let's start off with a super cute picture of my dog (Chester) covered up in my bed the other night:

Can you find him? He is so cute, oh how I love him.

Woo-hoo, second blog post! Aaand I'm not entirely sure how to start things off.

I GOT A PACKAGE TODAYYY! I recently ordered some Soap & Glory- CLEAN ON ME shower gel from Sephora:

(Ugh please forgive the glare <<<spelling?)
It smells nice, somewhat like The Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory. Something that is on this bottle that I've never seen on a bottle of shower gel before is, in the instructions, it recommends that you turn your shower off while you wash up with it as to "Prevent it from all just going down the drain." Hmmm...

When you order from Sephora, you get 3 free samples, woo! For some reason though, I received FOUR!

Bottom row left to right: GLAM GLOW Brightmud Eye Treatment, CLINIQUE Acne Solutions Clearing Gel, and Desigual "love" (which is a little perfume sample). The extra sample I was sent is another little perfume sample from Cartier "La Panthere" (top center). Both of the perfumes actually smell quite good, although the Cartier has a hint of an old lady smell to it.

ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT NOTE:

Let's talk about The Fault in Our Stars. I read the book back in 2013 before Christmas and oh boy it's good. John Green is a talented and super smart man (and easy on the eyes too). Has anyone else noticed that since An Imperial Affliction is not actually a real book, John kind of wrote a book WHILST HE WAS WRITING A BOOK?! What if An Imperial Affliction was an idea John had for a book but was too nervous to actually write it for fear of what his readers would think of it, so instead, he gave us a little taste of it too see if it would get a response? Also, another idea of mine, think back to the book and how the main character in An Imperial Affliction just quits "writing" about her life, like she may have died (per Hazel's thoughts). Well, did anyone else think that TFIOS itself ends a bit like that? Like it just kind of... stopped? What if it's supposed to be like An Imperial Affliction? What if- brace yourselves- Hazel died?

I just noticed that in both of the pictures showing my bed, it's unmade. I promise I've made my bed before.

And in case anyone wondered what I look like:

Here's me! Be sure to comment and share my blog, recommend it on Google+, do whatever you're supposed to do in the blog world.

Much love xx

Starting My Blog

Welcome to my blog!

Granted, this is not technically my first blog, I've had at least one that I started years ago, posted once... and probably forgot my username and password. So now it could be just floating along in the abyss of the internet (if you happen to stumble upon it, please let me know). I also have a tumblr account: (analternativeside.tumblr.com).
Feel free to give it a look and follow!

Although I'm not totally new to this blogging thing, I'm actually new this blogging thing... Did that make any sense at all? I don't have a specific topic to blog about, I feel as though my posts will be about my life or maybe life things in general.

If you're reading my blog (and hopefully following it) maybe you should know somethings about me:

My name is Emily.

I'm 18.

I'm Christian.

I just graduated high school.

I'm attending a small college later this year.

I really really like watching YouTube videos.

I've wanted to be a YouTuber for quite some time.

I'm not being super great at telling you a lot of good things about myself. #whoops

Well, if you are reading this and have made it this far, thank you! Leave a comment telling me what you would like to see on here. Tell your friends, share my blog, like it ( if you can even do that), and be sure to come back!

Join me on my adventure of blogging, maybe? :)

Toodleloo!
