Almost Two Years

Oops...

I didn't mean for this to happen. Didn't I warn you about my previous blogs that got lost in the abyss of the internet? You were expecting this, weren't you? That's alright.

A LOT has happened in the past nearly year and a half. Biiiig life changes. Let's see if we can hit all the high notes:

In my last blog post, I was single and lonely, a hopeless romantic if you will. I wasn't planning on much to happen too soon. I was in my first semester of college and planning to become a nurse. I had recently began a job at a small jewelry store...

And then Josh made his way into my life.

He swept me off my feet and in no time I was head over heels. I was known for dropping them like they were hot after around 2 weeks. Josh is my exception. I don't know how he did it, but I'm sure glad that he was the one to figure me out. Josh had really been in my life for years before we started dating, but we were just friends (although I have thought he was super cute since he started coming around more).

Fast forward to our almost ninth month of dating, josh proposes to me. And I said yes. This has been one of the very best decisions of my life. And then fast forward around 2 months later we were getting married. One of the very best days of my life.

And now I'm sitting on the couch, in my house, with my husband. We've eaten supper and filled out million dollar brackets for sports games we don't know enough about. We've watched some of Jill and Jessa: Counting on and Shark Tank, and we're both on our laptops. I love it.

You really never know how your life is planned to turn out.

I had to quit my job because I was moving to where Josh lived, but God has recently provided me with one that seems like it is going to work perfectly with my schedule. I'm in my last semester of college and have finally chosen a major. I decided that nursing isn't where I'm headed at this moment in my life. We have a dog named Luke, we saved him from a shelter that he was given up to by his previous owner (we love him).

We have family, we have God, we have each other. And that's all we really need.

I am so thankful.

Toodleloo! xoxo
